MILDENHALL v BRUMMIES, PREVIEW

Friday September 07, 2018
BIRMINGHAM head to Mildenhall on Saturday (7.30pm) for a re-arranged fixture against the runaway National League leaders.

The Fen Tigers are eyeing a perfect season ahead of the play-offs, having won all 15 of their league matches so far.

Brummies again call up several guests to cover for their various injuries and unavailable riders with Ben Morley, Jon Armstrong and Nick Laurence all standing in.

The hosts operate rider-replacement for Josh Bailey, who suffered concussion in a crash at Kent last Monday.

Birmingham boss Laurence Rogers said: “It’s going to be a really tough one, their record speaks for itself, but it would be nice to get at least a point there.

“We went there in the KO Cup with half a team earlier in the season and managed to keep things close, so I do think it’s a realistic target, and then obviously we have a really big match against Coventry on Sunday.”

MILDENHALL: Danny Ayres, Josh Bailey R/R, Ryan Kinsley, Jordan Jenkins, Drew Kemp, Matt Marson, Sam Bebee.

BIRMINGHAM: Tom Bacon, Callum Walker R/R, Jon Armstrong, Leon Flint, Ben Morley, Josh Embleton, Nick Laurence.
