BIRMINGHAM Bulls secured a comfortable 55-38 win over National League leaders Stoke at Perry Barr on Thursday night.

Phil Morris's side proved to be superior in most departments with reserve debutant Tom Armstrong impressing greatly with four unbeaten rides.

Skipper Jack Hargreaves also reeled off a series of wins before giving best to opposite number Tony Atkin in Heat 15, the veteran Stoke man having earlier won a tactical ride with a superb move around the outside.

His team-mate Jaimie Pickard wasn't so fortunate when he went for double, being edged out on the line by Ashley Morris in Heat 13, and that ended the visitors' chances.
